Hello, I am curious how will upgrading work from model gpt-4-1106 to gpt-4-0125 in regions where gpt-4-0125 is not available? I have several gpt-4-1106 models with option Upgrade when expired version in East US 2, France Central, Norway East regions. Thank you for clarification

Hello Anna Dombajova , Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, unless you are located in one of the available regions for GPT-4-0125 , which include East US, North Central US, and South Central US, you will not be able to automatically upgrade or continue using the service in the future. This issue is briefly mentioned in the "Important" section of the article , and I have encountered the same problem in several of my environments. Hi, thank you for you answer. However, I have found no specific mention of this behavior in the document. Also as there is no region where currently both models are available which would mean that the Important section does not really apply here. Would you share more specifically what might you believe, the models don't get upgraded? Thank you

I think you are concerned about upgrading your model to 0125 in regions where only 1106 is only available right now? Is that correct?

To summarize:

Will "gpt-4 (1106-preview)" be upgraded to "gpt-4 (0125-preview)" if the deployment is in a region not currently marked as supported for GPT-4 (0125-preview)? Yes, the model will be upgraded in the existing region starting March 8th.
