Sharedmailbox in the new outlook

Hi Team,

In the old Outlook, shared mailboxes appeared as top-level folders. However, in the “New” version, they are now located within a “Shared with me” folder . While this arrangement may not be immediately intuitive for users accustomed to the old layout, we want to ensure a seamless experience during this transition.

To maintain process continuity and ease of access, we’d like to explore options for “pinning” or bookmarking these shared mailboxes outside of the “Shared with me” folder. or another way that you thing will be easy for users.

The option to add a shared mailbox as additional account ("top-level folder") is not currently available in the new Outlook, however Microsoft has committed to delivering it and already added it to the Roadmap. Release should follow in the next few months.

Please kindly understand that many functions are not designed at present. To get this feature more quickly, I have found a post in feedback collection website and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. You can also make suggestions on that website and hope Microsoft will notice this in the future.
