HELP! RE: PAGE NUMBER

Question

Hi, I set my page number on the right side of the header, (I am on a mac btw), the page number switches to the left side when I quick view it or upload the page number is on the left side? WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? Someone else I know with a mac has the same issue. Please help!!

Please tell me the version of Office.

Does this problem occur in Word?
If yes, how did you insert the page number?
Did you follow the steps in “Add page numbers to a header or footer in Word”?

By the way, when you insert a page number using Word's Insert>Page Number commands, it inserts a page number field inside a frame. Then you can drag the frame to wherever you need it.

What’s more, right-click on the frame that surrounds the page number and choose Format Frame. Make sure the Horizontal setting is Right Relative to Margin.
