Using MDS deployupdate error on sync relationship

I am trying to use the MDSModelDeploy deployupdate command. But I am getting this error.

Error:

The model cannot be updated.

200213: The entity change cannot be saved. It is the target of a sync relationship. You use the sync process to change the target entity of a sync relationship.

Anyone that could help lead me in the direction to resolve this error would be appreciated.

I just faced the same problem. I could update models with Entities with domain based attributes that refer to the Entity we created as sync job replica from different models without problems last few years and now it's start happening. Looking for help, too.
