I have a visual studio subscription that comes with a o365 dev sandbox tenant. How do a setup a subscription within that tenant so that I can spin up Azure resources that interacts with the o365 dev sandbox. I am trying to do some testing development with sentinel, defender for o365 and cannot add a subscription to the tenant to pull in the o365 logs or any entra id logs.

Set up a Microsoft 365 developer sandbox subscription
Set up a Microsoft Azure account For some Office solutions, you might need a Microsoft Azure account to build using Azure services. This is not included with the Microsoft 365 Developer subscription. To set up a free Azure account, see Create your Azure free account today.
From the description, it doesn't sound like there are tenant or subscription specific resources needed to work with Office solutions. I'd check in at the Microsoft 365 Developer Platform to confirm:
