Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications

Question

I have been following the SSIS tutorials from Microsoft Learn:

I am currently stuck at step 8 of "Add the package to the SSISDB catalog":

Any idea to help me get around of this error is much appreciated.

Hi @Norman K. F. Chow,

Have you installed the SSIS service?

Check Install Integration Services (SSIS).

In the SQL Server Setup Wizard, select New SQL stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation. To install Integration Services, make selections on the Feature Selection page.
