    Hello,

It is not normal for the System item under Power & battery to occupy 91% of your device's resources. This could indicate a problem with your device's power management settings or a software issue.

I recommend checking for any updates ( Start  > Settings  > Windows Update) or running a virus scan to rule out any software issues. Please refer to this link:

If the problem persists, you may need to contact your device manufacturer for further assistance.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian

SOLVED - I uninstalled AVG and now system usage is around 2%

    Hi

I have had the same issue with my new laptop, basically from the beginning.

Now I am in Clean Boot. The only app I was not able to turn off was my AVG antivirus.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro with an Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 256V 2.20 GHz processor, which is kind of new.

No malware or viruses were found.

One issue I had was the installation of a Windows update (KB5044384) which seems to be a common problem. Now I finally managed to install it.

And I am not an advanced user but I can do basic tasks, so do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you for any tips
