When I'm home where my server is located the WSE 2016 Client Connector always shows green and it is automatically connected to the server. However, whenever I'm working from a remote location the Client Connector is greyed out and won't connect to the server and I'm using Windows 11pro. I have read so many articles related to this issue with windows 10 and I have tried to resolve this issue using their solutions but have not yet found a working resolution for my issue using Windows 11. I can successfully connect via VPN and still the Client Connector is greyed out and won't connect. I thought whenever the VPN connection was established the Client Connector would change from Grey to Greene and I would have access to all Network Resources, to include Client Computer Backup which isn't working in my case. When I open the Launchpad I receive a message saying "The server appears to be offline, do you want to sign in to offline mode" And in the Server Dashboard the Client Computer is showing offline. I really want is to be able to backup my computer from a remote location using the Client Connector Launchpad. If anyone can assist me in resolving this issue please let me know and thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Please make sure that the client computer meets below prerequisites for connecting to the server:

    1. The client computer must have a valid connection to the Internet.
    2. The client computer is on the same IP subnet as the server that is running Windows Server Essentials when the client computer is on the same network as the server.
    3. The computer's date and time settings align to the settings on the server.
