Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga Tounchscreen not working

I have just bought a 2019 Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11e 5th Gen IPS touchscreen, but for some reason the touch screen ability is not working. I have tried the device manager and HID touchscreen, but for some reason I do not have the Touchscreen driver/device to allow my computer to be a touchscreen. is there anything I can do to fix it

The problem could be due to several reasons, including missing or outdated drivers, or issues with the hardware itself. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and possibly resolve the issue:

 

Check Device Manager: Press Windows Key + X and choose Device Manager from the list. Expand the Human Interface Devices section, locate the touchscreen device on the list, right-click it and choose the Update driver option. Now click on Search automatically for updated driver software.

 

Re-enable Touchscreen: Open Device Manager, click Action – Scan for hardware changes. Besides, you can right click HID-compliant touch screen and select Update Driver Software and check the result.

 

Update Drivers: Visit the Lenovo Support Downloads web page for your exact model and update the HID touchscreen driver. It may be for Windows 10, 8.1, 8 or 7 so check all of those.

 

Reinstall Touchscreen Driver: If the driver is missing after a Windows update, you might need to do a factory reset and go back to Windows 10 to get the driver to reinstall and then decline all future update prompts.
