    Hi,

    Did you use the same bit version of Office?

    I suggest you check if you're using the same 32/64bit version of Office 2021 as Office 2016.

    What kind of data source did you use to create the connection in Power Query?

    If possible, you can also try to re-create the connection in Office 2021.

    Which method of verification did you use to create the connection?

    Did you get any error messages about refreshing?
