sign in window is poorly populated and missing most elements you would expect during a microsoft sign in

I have the same problem since I upgraded to VS Enterprise 2022 to 17.9.3 version. As soon as I'm trying to add an account, I get all sorts of js errors as soon as I click on 'Add new account' and enter my account's email address (ie I can't even enter the password). It was all fine before the upgrade.

After clicking Yes, I get another one:

And 3rd one:

Then it blanks out and just hangs.

Please sign in VS2019 with GitHub account via File > Account Settings > Add > GitHub.

Sign In -> Sign-in Options -> Sign in with GitHub (Personal Accounts Only)

Hello, the sign in method you use is not supported for a long time. Please try the following steps to sign in VS with GitHub account:

File > Account Settings > +Add > GitHub

If the +Add option is not visible, please first sign into VS with a Microsoft account via clicking “Sign in”. Then, you can add your GitHub account via +Add.

Using this route to connect a GitHub account avoids the error messages from JavaScript in that login window previously screenshotted
