Backup/recovery service vault

Question

i have created a recovery service vault and a policy attached to it.

When i create a backup schedule i am unable to search the storage account i want to backup and associate it with backup vault policy

@Vijayan, Uvaneswaran Sorry for the inconvenience this must have caused you!

As I understand, you are trying to enable Azure File Share backup. However, you are unable to find the storage account that you want to associate with the vault and the backup policy.

Few things to make a note off:

First thing, ensure the storage account is supported type as show in the screenshot below and also the storage account and the vault should be in the same region and not associated to any Recovery Services vault.

"There's no need to specify storage accounts to store the backup data. The Recovery Services vault and Azure Backup handle that automatically."
