Thats a good question and thanks for using QandA platform

So In Teams, once a channel or its content has been deleted, it typically cannot be restored even directly by an admin.

If your organization has configured retention policies for Teams, chat messages, channel messages, and other types of content may be retained for a specified period even after deletion. In such cases, admins can recover deleted content within the retention period.

So in summary I guess its not possible to get back a deleted channel.

Hi @Donald Bruce

It can be recovered in the Teams client, here are the steps to do it:

Step 1: Click More options next to the target team > choose Manage team.

Step 2: In the management page, open Channels tab and expand the Deleted list > Click the Restore button.

Please note that deleted channels can be restored within 30 days. After 30 days, a deleted channel and its content are permanently deleted. If the channel is not visible in the Deleted list, it might have been more than 30 days since it was deleted.
