I am having difficulties installing MS teams. I get the following message This app package is not supported for installation by App Installer because it uses certain restricted capabilities.

Please try to go to Microsoft Store to download or update the app named "App Installer".

Please try reinstalling Teams after installation to see if the problem is resolved.

There is no app in the Microsoft Store called App Installer. Please post useful information on these forums instead of guessing.

using POWERSHELL on Windows

PS C:\windows\system32> add-appxpackage -path D:\Microsoft_team\microsoft.ui.xaml.2.8.x64.appx PS C:\windows\system32> add-appxpackage -path D:\Microsoft_team\Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle

1. install Microsoft.UI.Xaml.2.8.x64.appx
2. install Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_8wekyb3d8bbwe.msixbundle

installing file : MSTeams-x64.msix as normal.

this way is worked for me.
