You can enable the group policy DefinePreferredLanguages to specify which language should be included in the Preferred languages settings. In the registry editor, simply add the DefinePreferredLanguages key (REG_SZ) under SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge with the language you want. For example, en-US:
If the policy is successfully configured, you will find no other languages can be added in the settings. This can help you prevent languages being automatically added:
