How to prevent edge from automatically adding other languages in settings?

Hello, when I was using Edge recently, I found that the German webpage did not have a translation option. After troubleshooting the problem, I found that in "Settings" - "Language", German automatically appeared in the list that originally only had English. I never added German to the list. After I deleted the German language, during subsequent use, I found that the German language was automatically added again, which caused the translation of edge not to be triggered. Is there any way to stop this? Thanks a lot!

    Hi @yx z,

You can enable the group policy DefinePreferredLanguages to specify which language should be included in the Preferred languages settings. In the registry editor, simply add the DefinePreferredLanguages key (REG_SZ) under SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge with the language you want. For example, en-US:

If the policy is successfully configured, you will find no other languages can be added in the settings. This can help you prevent languages being automatically added:
