Issue on Prompt Flow: Generate tool meta failed for prompt tool

Hi, everyone.

I am running into the following error when trying to validade and parse input from a Prompt variant :

Generate tool meta failed for prompt tool. Meta file '.prompt1__variant_1.tmp.jinja2' can not be found.

The "Files" section of my flow shows that there is .jinja2 file related to this variant (I don't know why it is referring to a .tmp file.

Anyone have a clue of how to troubleshoot this?

Same issue here.

I've looked at the files included in the Flow and it's correct in saying that there is no .tmp file. However, when I looked in the Flow Raw File view, there was 0 reference to any .tmp file.

Would love if a MSFT rep could assist and let us know if there's a known issue occurring or if we're doing something incorrectly.

3/14/2024 Update - Tried again today and didn't get the same error. Today was an 'OpenAI API hits APIConnectionError'. Will investigate as a possible separate issue but wanted to update that chain that the original .tmp.jinja error was no longer present.

Hello Team,

I am also facing the same problem the promptflows in different projects. Below error is coming when I try the chat from WebGUI.

Generate tool meta failed for prompt tool. Meta file '.tmp.jinja2' can not be found.

But the "response_formatter.jinja2" is already present in my project/promptflow directory.
