Taskbar icons and associated popups are way to small to see and chose the item for operation?

I have Windows 11 ver 23H2. I try to follow but they all say go to Taskbar Appearance and I don't have that. All I see is Taskbar Behaviors and that's not it. Other suggestions please. Thank you.
The only thing I can suggest is try changing your Display setting to a different resolution.
Or look under Setting, Accessibility/Ease of Access.

Changing the display setting worked for me.

Settings > System > Scale & layout > Scale
If you have more than one monitor, you need to do this for each of them.

Seems the setting from Win10 is no longer available :(

Current workaround:
Set the display scale to one where the icons are smaller (in my case I went from 125% to 100%) and then go to accessibility settings > text size and change the text size (I set it to 125%). Some apps are iffy with this but it works for now. Posting since I didn't see this elsewhere.

Neither suggestions impact the size of the icons on the taskbar.

I de-selected optimize when used as a touchscreen and my Task Bar instantly resized to 1/2 the size it was which was blocking the lowest parts of the active window
