Hi @DC, Rahul ,
It seems this is not a common issue per my test. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, Please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.
What version of sharepoint are you using and is it SharePoint designer 2013 or 2010?
As suggested in the SharePoint designer 2013 error Unexpected error on server associating the workflow try the following:
- Delete all folders in the following directory in local: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SharePoint Designer\ProxyAssemblyCache\
- Delete the files in all folders in this directory in local: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache\ don’t delete the folders, just delete the contents of the folders
- If the issue is is not fixed still, try to Uninstall and install SharePoint Designer 2013 again.
Hope the information can help you. And if there have any unclear or misunderstanding, please feel free to post back and we’ll continue to help you all the time!
Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated! Hope you have a good day and keep safe!
