Teams Room Licensing Basic for Yealink Room Panel

I have purchased 2 Yealink Room Panels, they have been assigned Teams Room Basic Licenses, but this seems to stop them from being able to log into their resource accounts? The resource accounts are room resources with associated accounts, as the Yealink Room Panels require a username and password to connect to the teams account.

If I remove the Teams Room Basic Licenses, the devices connect and work perfectly?

These displays are needed to be used so that users can book the meeting room via Outlook, Teams or locally using the QR code displayed on the screen of the device.

Has anyone any idea why this could be going wrong?

According to the documentation, Each Teams panel needs a Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro license or a Teams Shared Device license. The license you use depends on how you're going to use your Teams panel:

• Teams Rooms Pro - Use this license if your meeting room has a Teams Rooms system or a Surface Hub. You can share one Teams Rooms Pro license with one Teams Rooms system or Surface Hub and your Teams panel. For more information, see Resource account provisioning.
• Teams Shared Device - Use this license if your meeting room doesn't have a Teams Rooms system or Surface Hub.

Therefore you cannot use Teams Room Basic Licenses for Teams panels.
