Permissions required to buy Savings Plan for Compute

Hello,

We just need to buy a Savings Plan for Compute on behalf of our customer. checked the following article and found billing profile contributor permissions or Subscription owner's permission is required for the same. Our customer doesn't want to give us either permission.

What is the minimal permissions that we can create to buy Savings Plan for Compute? May be it's the same as mentioned above but checking if there is any work around for same.

    Apart from the two options you have provided, I could see this...

    • EA admins with write permissions can directly purchase savings plans from Cost Management + Billing > Savings plan. No subscription-specific permissions are needed.

    Partners can use Home > Savings plan in the Azure portal to purchase savings plans on behalf of their customers. The Partners can also buy an Azure savings plan through Partner Center. Partners now have the flexibility to purchase Azure savings plans through the Partner Center portal, APIs, or continue using the Azure portal.
