I bought a new laptop and am unsure about its specifications provided through command prompts, it should be an i7 lenovo thinkpad 16GB RAM from 2018, what are the laptop specifications in the images?

I'm a little confused that the BIOS says 2023 and that I can't see i7 written anywhere. Also, that the available physical memory is only 12MB.

Have I been sold a model with the wrong or reduced parts?

    Hi,

Systeminfo gets the processor identifier, not the model name. To get the name you can run command

wmic cpu get name or the powershell cmdlet (get-computerinfo).CsProcessors

03/01/2023 is the release date of the current version of BIOS.

The available physical memory is the memory currently not used. Check total physical memory for the memory installed on your computer.

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue
