Hello there,

I have some issues with log in to my personal Microsoft Account from Local Account (and also to Outlook, Teams, Edge, etc.). When I am trying to log in, for example switch from Local account on Win11 to Online Account using "Sign in with a Microsoft Account instead", it only shows box for sign in only for 2 seconds (it seems like it only tries to show log in box), but after two seconds it automatically close the box (which is also not fully loaded) and nothing happen and I cant sign in. It looks like some bug or something like this (it only blicks and nothing happens).

I had this problem already when I was logged in with this account, or I had it with teams, outlook and edge and other Microsoft applications. When I tried to log in to these applications, the login window opened, it didn't even have time to load and after 2 seconds it shut down, so I tried logging out of the online account and now I can't get back to logging in from the local one.

Can you help me please, with this issues?

Thanks for help,

Lukas

    Hi @Lukáš Patrnčiak

Teams tag is mainly focused on the general issue of Microsoft Teams troubleshooting. According to your description, your question is related to Windows systems, which is not in our support scope. The following suggestion is just for your reference:

1.Ensure that your internet connection is stable. Sometimes login issues can occur due to network disruptions.

2.Sometimes a simple restart can resolve minor glitches. Restart your computer and try logging in again.

3.Incorrect date and time settings can cause authentication issues. Right-click on the clock in the taskbar and select Adjust date/time. Make sure the date, time, and time zone are correct.

4.Clear Cached Credentials and Restart your computer and try logging in again.

    Hello Lukáš Patrnčiak,

Based on your description, this may need to be troubleshooted:

Run Windows Update: Make sure your system is up to date, as updates may contain patches that fix the issues you're experiencing. Please go to Settings - Update & Security - Windows Update to check if there are any pending updates.

Account setup issues: Check your account status on the Microsoft account website to make sure your account isn't locked or disabled.

If possible, try signing in to your Microsoft account on another device to confirm that there is nothing wrong with the account itself.

Create a new local user account: Create a new local user account in the Control Panel and try to log in with that account.

Firewall or security software blocking: Check whether your firewall settings or security software are blocking network connections to Microsoft related services. Try disabling your firewall or security software temporarily.

Reset Microsoft Edge: You can also try resetting Edge. Open Edge, go to Settings - Reset Settings, select "Restore Settings to Defaults".

I hope you the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Yanhong Liu
