Hi,

I am still not having any luck regarding logging into the Azure portal, using my personal Microsoft account. Reason for trying this again, is because I want to start using a Pay-As-You-Go subscription again, like I have in the past with this account.

I get the same error message for:

  • Azure Portal
  • Microsoft Entra
  • MyApps

Resetting password does not fix it.

Resetting MFA does not fix it.

Requesting a full forgotten password reset does not fix it.

Who has the golden ticket to solve this?
Much appreciated!

    Hello,

I have asked Microsoft employee to provide a guide for this going forward. They have provided the information below.

Please use the following as a guide to reaching out to the Data Protection team:

Global Admin Account Locked/Unable to access Entra ID Portal (Due to Authenticator App issues/Security Defaults/Incorrect configuration of Conditional access policy)

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1455267/global-admin-account-locked-unable-to-access-entra

If this is helpful please accept answer.

The question here will be, is this the only account in this tenant or this is just a guest account invited to the tenant. Also check if you are targeting the tenant....You can be sure by using an Incognito tab or trying to force the authentication to the right tenant by adding the tenant ID to the back to the portal.azure.com/tenantid. However, If the user account is the only one in there...then you can only resolve this by going through the Data Protection Team as suggested in the comment above..
