How to generate outlook app security password in Windows 11

Question

I am trying to create an outlook mail account in the windows 11 mail app. It is asking for an "app" password.

I did a co-pilot query and it sent me to my MS account. However, to generate the app password I need an authenticator... but that points to a phone not desktop.

How do i generate the app password on a windows 11 desktop? (not phone)
