Delete Folder

Hi All

I am using office365 hybrid environment. I see that every sharepoint site has a folder by name General under Documents. Is it possible to delete this folder or rename the folder. If i cannot delete General Folder, Can i delete the items in the General Folder.

Hi @Rising Flight ,Thank you for posting in this community.

The short answer is No. Unfortunately, the “General” folder associated with each SharePoint site’s default document library(the name of a general channel in Microsoft Teams) cannot be deleted or renamed.

I recommend you give suggestion in the feedback portal and help to make improvements. Many features of current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback.
