Site recovery VM disk not getting deleted

Hello,

I had enable site recovery for one of test VM part of my learning and have deleted test VM. Now there is a disk with name "ms-asr-857cff44-ba09-54b5-a563-a006bdb94540" keep appearing in resource group. When I delete, it goes away but show up again. When click on disk, it says resource is not found.

as per above link solution-6 says I need to log a case with Microsoft, since I am on free subscription, I am unable to do so.

I understand that you have followed the solution-6 mentioned in the provided link, but since you are on a free subscription, you are unable to log a case with Microsoft. In this case, I would suggest you try the following steps: 1. Check if there are any snapshots or images associated with the disk. If yes, delete them first and then try deleting the disk. 2. Try deleting the disk using Azure CLI or PowerShell. You can use the following command to delete the disk using Azure CLI: az disk delete --name --resource-group You can use the following command to delete the disk using PowerShell: Remove-AzDisk -Name -ResourceGroupName 3. If the above steps do not work, try deleting the disk from the Azure portal using an incognito window or a different browser. If none of the above steps work, please let me know and we can explore other options.
