I am looking for information about upcoming updates and new features of Skype for bussiness announced on Skype TAP webpage. How long shall Skype for business continue to recieve patches and which new functions will be released (if any) in upcoming releases?

The Skype for Business Server team is looking for new members to join our Technology Adoption Program (TAP). TAP is an established program designed to validate updates to Skype for Business Server by asking customers to test them in their own lab or production environments.
Program participants have the opportunity to assess and validate upcoming features and enhancements before they are generally available, and provide feedback directly to the Skype for Business product development team.
New feature announcements will be communicated to participants through email and a Teams channel dedicated to Skype for Business 2015/2019 discussion. For more details about it, you could refer to:

Greater part of Skype users are not a part of TAP, it would be nice to get the information, Microsoft is releasing information to customers anyway, this should not be a secret. Either You are doing something or not. And it would help to lot of users to plan for future. I know that this is conflicting though Microsoft is selling both Teams and Skype, so we will find out anyway eventually, but the feelings regarding information from Microsoft can make either positive or negative experience, right? Just simple answer such as "yes, we're working (or not) on Skype, there will be (or not) new functions and we have plan (or not) to keep Skype alive". Cutomers that needs Skype, but cannot use Teams (Europe), will eventually turn to other solutions such available on market or/and some other collaboration platforms. I did not got any answers and information on the web that You are linked to is over one year old, hence question. For me, it should be normal to publish at least some update, and maybe more often so that all users get some information.
