How to configure MS Edge to work with PDF Hyperlinks?

PDF hyperlinks in a PDF file to other PDF files under same folder on a web server using Microsoft Edge browser do not work. The links only work only if "Reload in Internet Explorer mode" is selected under MS Edge.

Adobe engineer said nothing wrong with the hyperlinks, as they work in Internet Explorer and in Adobe Reader, but not in the latest web browser.

    Hi @Guerrero, Darlene (EXTERNAL),

You may have a look at the policy NewPDFReaderEnabled, which enables the Adobe Acrobat powered PDF reader engine in Microsoft Edge. Since your hyperlink works in Adobe Reader, there's a chance to do the same thing with this policy.

You can understand that it is related to Chromium Embedded Framework features, but you can request for new features, too. To request a feature, please send feedback to the Edge Dev Team by Alt+Shift+I.

Was the PDF designed in InDesign? I noticed the new updated version exports PDF with hyperlinks that do not work in Microsoft Edge but do work in every other reader.
