So I had to factory reset my admittedly old Windows 10 work computer. When I try to sign in to Microsoft with my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** account (which already has a Microsoft 365 account), it gives me the error "This doesn't look like a work or school email address." And now I can't get back into my computer.

    Hello

This error message usually appears when the system doesn’t recognize your email as a work or school account. Here are a few steps you can try:

Verify your account: Make sure you’re using the correct work or school account. You can verify this by accessing the Office Portal with your account to make sure it’s available.

Clear your Office credentials and cache: If you’ve confirmed that you’re using the correct account and you’re still getting the error message, you might need to clear your Office credentials and cache. This can often resolve issues with account recognition.

Disconnect and reconnect your account: Go to Windows settings > Accounts > Access Work or School > Disconnect your email account. Then, restart your device and try to reconnect your account.

Reinstall Office: If the issue persists, you might need to reinstall Office. Uninstall Office completely, then go to office.com/myaccount, sign in with the Microsoft account that has the product, and reinstall Office.
