Hello,

I have requirement to change one of my onprem AD server IP Addr to different IP.

Will the changing of IP Addr have bad impact?

Yes you can have a impact , but you can avoid it or reduce this impact by checking:

The network flow allows existing servers and workstations to reach the DC using the new IP.
You have also check if there any application configured to contact this DC as LDAP server using its IP not FQDN.
If the IP of this DC is used as DNS resolver on your workstations (DHCP) and servers. If it's the case you should add new IP as additional DNS resolvers in network card for each server and in DHCP configuration for workstation .

All those checks suggested are correct. Just to add, IP Address change on DC has no impact. DC should also be DNS Server, so after the change you should check if records have been updated automatically, just as a double check.

Hi.. Beside those impact, is there impact for replicate accross other DC? Also ia yhere any impact to user authentication whre the user log on to their workstation?

As I mentioned in my previous answer , if the network flow is opened between other domain controllers (for AD replication) and clients ( for authentication) like old IP and the DNS record of this domain controller is update with new IP after the IP switch, there is no impact. The client will continue authenticate and this DC will continue replicate with other DCs.
