Hi Team,

I'm looking for pre-requisite for enabling Zone to Zone disaster recovery within the region. Should I create Recovery service with zone Redudant or something else. If I'm going with LRS option will ASR within region between zone will support or not.

Are you referring to backup storage redundancy? If so, that's either Locally or Geo-redundant. In this case, it seems that Locally-redundant might suffice.

Note that's separate from the ability to support zone-redundant failover and the resiliency of the vault against an individual datacenter failures. Zone-redundancy is built-in (as long as the region supports it).

    As per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/reliability/reliability-backup

"Azure Backup is a zone-redundant service for both Recovery Service and Backup vaults. When you create your vault resources, you don't need to configure for zone-redundancy. In the case of a zonal outage, the vaults remain operational."
