I need help with my Microsoft Edge Personal Account

I have an issue with my Microsoft Edge Account. I can't login to my Personal Account on Edge. I used to.

Whenever I try to login. I click login and sync data. Enter my email and password. Then a new menu opens and tells me to wait while it's loading then turning white forever.

Hi @Tony Le,

I reproduced and tested the problem you described on my two machines (Windows Server 2022 and Win11), but everything works fine on my machine. What is your Edge version and Windows version? Have you tried logging in using your other personal account? Or you can try logging in with your Work or school account.

I am trying everything to log into my personal account again and so I appreciate all guidance to resolve the matter.

I am able to log into my school/university account and organization account, this runs smoothly.

Logging into me Personal Account still does not work. Login and sync data - white screen ERROR.

I've checked and I'm running the latest version of Microsoft Edge

I believe the issue may be with the Microsoft Account. Software on my desktop.

It's asking for account setting "Update Information" highlighted in orange.

This takes me to the same menu that asks for e-mail and password, this also ends with the same white screen and does not update my account.

I'm sure that the e-mail and password is correct, as I am able to login to my Edge, Bing on my Phone and able to access the Microsoft 365 with the personal account on the website.

Hi @Tony Le,

You can try clearing the cache in Edge and try again to see if you can log in normally. You can also log in with the problematic personal account on other Windows devices to check whether the same problem occurs.

I have already tried clearing the cache and reinstalling Edge etc. I can't find the fix to this white login error. I'm able to access the personal account on other devices, it's seems like its only effecting this device. I have no more ideas for what I can try.

I have exactly the same problem. I tried everything (clean cash, reset Edge, delete profiles, change passwprd, etc). Nothing worked. I suspect something chamged in the Microsoft servers or policies. It affects the Outlook (new) app, which can't sign on.

The issue has been resolved.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I contacted the Microsoft support team and we tried a few things which resolved the issue.

It was quite amusing that basic troubleshooting did nothing to resolve the issue. However, we stumbled across the solution by accident. The technical support asked if I could switch from Norwegian to English on Windows to better assist me. Little did we know that downloading the English Language Pack and restarting would resolve the login issue the next time I tried syncing Microsoft Edge :)
