What will happen if I install Office 2016 from HUP on new Windows 11 laptop?

I just got a brand new laptop with Windows 11. I had been using my previous laptop for 7 years. It was running Windows 10 and had a Office 2016 previously purchased through HUP for $15 flat. (through my military email). I found the original link in an old email and it allowed me to download the install package on my new laptop, but I have not clicked on it yet.

What will happen if I run it? Will it replace Office 365 with Office 2016 or will the coexist? Will it still work? I do NOT have a current Office 365 subscription and I am unable to use Word and Excel etc on the new laptop

    Hi @Brad Panichelli

    Office 2016 cannot installed with the existed Microsoft 365 Apps.

    If you do not have a license for Microsoft 365 Apps, you can uninstall it.

    Then install the Office 2016. (Please note, Office 2016 can be only installed on one machine. You need to uninstall it from the previous one.)
