Hi, Sorry I haven't found an answer to my question but @**RedDragonBob1 **asked the same thing (stole your wording :))

I'd like new employees (newcomers) to go to the checklist, click complete on a task and the task completion sends an email to the Manager.

  • The Manager can also go inside the list and send a task reminder to the newcomer.
  • The task list is always unique to the person using it, for instance, newcomer #1 logs on and clicks complete on task A, then newcomer #2 logs on and clicks complete on Task A, then newcomer #3 and so on but they won't be able to see each other's progress or attachments and they also won't need to re-type the tasks and other columns. The newcomers cannot see each other's attachments for privacy but the HR Liason AND the Mentor (two different resources) should be able to see the newcomer's attachments and progress. This will require special permissions.

Is that possible?

    • In the SharePoint server, achieve it through workflow.User's image
    • In the SharePoint online, achieve it through flow.2

(1)In the Assigned To column, enter corresponding user account.

(2)Modify current view -> In the filter, set Assigned To is equal to [ME]. So that, users only can see tasks assigned to themselves.
