Global Secure Access - Can't assign connector group

Our Tenant is in Europe, but I'm at a USA site. I want to create a Connector Group for Private Access for our USA site. I've read from this post that it is only possible to use connector groups with the same region as the region the tenant is in. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1457899/global-secure-access-cannot-assign-non-europe-conn

So, I created a new connector group, also using the region for Europe and added my USA connectors. When I try to create an Enterprise Application and assign this connector group it fails with the following error: "This application cannot be assigned to a connector group outside of the default region". I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks.

    Hi @Pietrorazio, Mike

Thank you for reaching out to the community forum!

I understand that you create a Connector Group for Private Access for their USA site, but they are receiving an error message when trying to assign the connector group to an Enterprise Application. The error message states that "This application cannot be assigned to a connector group outside of the default region."

Based on the documentation you provide is correct it is only possible to use connector groups with the same region as the region the tenant is in.

This means that if your tenant is in Europe, you can only assign connector groups that are also in the Europe region to your Enterprise Applications. If you try to assign a connector group from a different region (like the USA), you’ll encounter the error message "This application cannot be assigned to a connector group outside of the default region."

To resolve this issue, you may need to ensure that the Connector Group's region matches the region of your tenant. If creating a Connector Group with a European region is not feasible for your USA site.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Thanks,

    Akhilesh.
