Hi All

we are created new monitor for monitoring 1074 event id.

once the alert created we need to enable the scom maintenance mode using recovery task.

I have used the cmdlet start-scom maintenance mode but not getting how to pass instance value in the cmdlet

pls help how to make script to pick the instances name automatically like how to pass the argument or parameter value

    Hi,

    Event ID 1074 is logged when the user initiates a windows system restart or shutdown through Ctrl + Alt + Delete and clicks on Shut Down.

    I guess you want to put server into maintenance mode when it restarts or shutdown.

    SCOM is designed to detect server status, so it does what it's supposed to do.

    If you feel that there are a large number of noise alert, please consider planning your reboot and configuring maintenance windows in advance.

    For noise alert, we could bulk resolved the alerts in console.
