How to start macros?

Hello,

I got a new Dell laptop and it runs Windows 11 with Office 365.

I use an Excel that also has macros in it. On other computers, Excel with the macros runs perfectly.

I entered the folder as trustworthy in the trust center and also selected the fourth point in the macro settings.

"Enable VBA macros (not recommended...)"

When I then want to start the macros using the buttons, nothing happens. I can then no longer do anything in Excel. Running it manually via the “Developer Tools” tab doesn’t work either. Excel is also “frozen” here. I then exit via the task manager and close the app there.

Do you have any idea what I can do?

Thanks in advance

Jens

    Hi,

I suggest you try to open VB editor in Excel using Alt + F11 keyboard shortcut.

I also suggest you try to repair Office application:

It is also recommended that you check whether the firewall and anti-virus software are enabled, you can disable these and try agian.

Just checking in to see if the information was helpful. Please let us know if you would like further assistance.
