The calendar in windows is simple and convenient, but it's been telling me that I will have to switch to outlook, which will not be allowed on my computer. Can I stop the calendar app from trying to migrate to outlook or do I need to find a new calendar app for windows?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

You can try the following methods to prevent the Windows Calendar application from prompting you to switch to Outlook:

Disable notifications: Look for notification options in the settings of the Windows calendar application and disable them. In this way, you will no longer receive notification prompts about switching to Outlook.

Update application: Ensure that your Windows calendar application is the latest version, and there may be updates that fix this issue or provide more options to manage notifications.

View application permissions: Check the permission settings of the Windows Calendar application to ensure that it does not have permission to access Outlook or send notifications related to Outlook.

Try other calendar applications: If the above methods are ineffective, you can consider trying other third-party calendar applications to meet your needs and avoid interference from switching to Outlook.

Hope this answer can help you well.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou
