Brand new Mac mini purchased today - installed Office 365 with my work credentials and met with this on start-up

Here's how to fix this issue:

Close all Office programs.
While holding down the Option key, click on the Go menu and choose Library. Your hidden user Library folder opens.
Navigate to ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup and open the Word, Excel and PowerPoint folders. Remove the files in each folder (an .xlam for Excel, a .dotm for Word and a .ppam for PowerPoint.
Restart the Office programs to check that the error message no longer appears.

Hi... I did all of that... and the Word, Excel, and PP folders are all empty in the startup folder.... and still whenever I start MS Word... I have this error.

Earlier, I faced the same problem. and the mentioned steps solved the problem. however, every few months, it appears again. it is very annoying... and now even this solution of "Navigate to ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup and open the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint folders. Remove the files in each folder...."

Every time I start any of the MS Office, a white empty window appears for a few seconds, disappears, and then Office starts...

at work, I have Lenovo business series, Windows: It is much more user-friendly and convenient... I wonder why such things are dramatic with apple!!!!

I am starting to hate Mac because of these issues. Ms office is very slow to start and there is always some issue with certain software that is not Apple.

I have Mcbook M2 Pro, MacOS 15.0 (24A335), 16GB...

I would highly appreciate how I can permanently sort out this issue...

This is an Adobe Acrobat problem, not caused by either Microsoft or Apple. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat. You might get a better answer from the Adobe Acrobat Community page. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/ct-p/ct-acrobat

That error message comes from VB = Visual Basic, so you have a macro in your Word/Excel document?

What is the macro doing/objects using?

Hi Olaf,

This error message occurs on start up of a new Excel Workbook, opening a document in Word but not when I create a new Word document. I'm not sure why that would be the case?
