I have a Web App in Azure and right now the session is timing out after 20 minutes for inactivity, how do I increase the inactivity session timeout in an Azure Web App to maybe 4 hours?Thanks

Hi Sergio,
You can enable Always on to prevent your web app from being idled out due to inactivity. Navigate to your app service in the portal -- Configuration blade -- Always on -- On. You must have at least Basic SKU.

Okay. When users are kicked out, are ALL users kicked out at same time? How many worker instances do you have configured and/or do you have automatic scaling enabled? What error is displayed to the users when they are kicked out?If only 1 user is kicked out at a time due to 20 minutes of inactivity, it is likely that something different is occurring. Always on helps for case where your application doesn't receive requests from ANY user for 20 minutes.
