Will the data in my sharepoint be accessible to users outside my organization? I don't want the business data to be accessible outside the organization when I create bot on Power virtual agent. Is there a way to ensure data confidentiality?

Please note that Power Virtual Agents capabilities and features are now part of Microsoft Copilot Studio following significant investments in generative AI and enhanced integrations across Microsoft Copilot.

Power Virtual Agents provides several features to ensure data privacy and security.

By default, the data in your SharePoint will not be accessible to users outside your organization. You can also configure the privacy settings for your bot to ensure that only authorized users can access the data.

To ensure data confidentiality, you can use authentication and authorization mechanisms such as Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to control access to your bot. Azure AD provides a secure way to manage user identities and access to resources. You can also use role-based access control (RBAC) to grant permissions to specific users or groups based on their roles and responsibilities.

Additionally, you can encrypt sensitive data using Azure Key Vault, which provides a secure way to store and manage cryptographic keys and secrets. This ensures that your data is protected even if it is accessed by unauthorized users.
