Remote Desktop won’t connect to my phone

Before troubleshooting the connection between your phone and the PC, we suggest ruling out whether the issue lies with the PC's Remote Desktop setup. If the connection succeeds from the anther Windows client, it suggests that the issue is likely with your phone's RDP client or network configuration.

If you still can't connect from the Windows device, then the issue is most probably with the host PC's Remote Desktop settings, network configuration, or security software.

Then you could follow these steps:

1. Make sure both your phone and PC meet the requirements for Remote Desktop. For the PC, it should be running Windows Professional or higher with Remote Desktop enabled. Check that Remote Desktop is enabled on your PC. Go to "System Properties" > "Remote" tab > ensure "Allow remote connections to this computer" is checked.
2. Both devices should be connected to the same network or internet connection. If you're trying to connect over the internet, ensure that your PC has a public IP address or is set up for remote access through a VPN or port forwarding.
