I try to follow the instructions in:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/virtual-machines/windows/sql-agent-extension-manually-register-single-vm?view=azuresql&tabs=azure-powershell#code-try-2

I input the commands in Azure PowerShell and get the following errors:

Line 622: Az.SqlVirtualMachine.internal\New-AzSqlVM @PSBoundParameters

The 'parameters.properties.sqlServerLicenseType' segment in the url is invalid.

    Hi Ben Tsui •,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I understand, you are getting Azure Powershell error The 'parameters.properties.sqlServerLicenseType' segment in the url is invalid while registering Windows SQL Server VM with SQL IaaS Agent extension.

Please review the syntax to make sure the url framed is valid in Powershell like Licensetype.

    Awaiting your reply, thanks.
