Greetings,

I did a clean install of Windows 11, without any other apps. and everything seemed fine, I tried terminal and it worked with related built-in apps.

I only installed the updates and I immediately noticed that Terminal no longer worked as before, the windows opened, but closed immediately.

I uninstalled the latest possible updates, but it didn't work.

I uninstalled terminal and wps and cmd started working again.

What can be the cause?

The exception code 0xc000001d indicates an illegal instruction, suggesting that the application attempted to execute a command that is not compatible or recognized.

I suggest checking for a new version of the Windows Terminal.

For testing purposes, create a new user profile on the system and see if it works there. If it does, there are likely corrupted files, and it might be better to switch users or try to restore the system.
