As a part of a rebranding strategy following a change of the company name, all services around Azure, Office and D365 Supply Chain shall be renamed to reflect the new company ID. Which is the best approach to change tenant, email, sharepoint and the ERP solution with all connected services.

To rename a Microsoft 365 tenant, you would need to create a new tenant with the desired name and migrate your data and services to the new tenant. This process is known as a tenant-to-tenant migration and can be done with the help of Microsoft Consulting Services or a Microsoft partner, as well as third-party tools. It's important to carefully plan and execute your tenant configuration to ensure a smooth transition.

As for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and Office, changing the tenant name would require reinstallation of the software and reconfiguration of the services. It's recommended to work with a Dynamics 365 partner to ensure a successful migration.

Hi @Jörg Meyer , you can do this by following the steps below:

    1. Change the company name in the Office 365 admin center. This will update the company name in Office 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
    2. Change the tenant name in the Azure portal. This will update the tenant name for all Azure services.
    3. Rename the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management instance. This can be done by creating a support ticket with Microsoft.
    4. Update the DNS records for your custom domain to reflect the new company name.
    5. Update any third-party applications or services that are integrated with your Office 365 or Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management instance.
