MS List Conditional Format query

I have a MS List and wish to use "Conditional Format", when selecting an item from a choice field to only show values relating to another field if the selection form the choice field is selected.
e.g Choice list, select the option "Risk Issue", display the field "Risk Reference" field and enter content, if "Risk" is not selected do not show this field and leave the field blank "null"?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

2024-03-27T07:08:40.37+00:00 I believe that I may have directed this query into the incorrect group, I am looking for some advise on how to acheive the desired outcom.
I will have to re-post as on reflection the sending into the O365 Training serves a different service to the community, my apologies in advance.
