Advise on using Microsoft Sharepoint cross tenancy migration tool in Preview

Hello,

We would like to use https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/cross-tenant-sharepoint-migration?view=o365-worldwide to do cross-tenant migration between 2 sites. What are the risks of using this tool that is in preview and what is the success percentage?

Since this is a preview version of the feature, some of the features will be modified later, but please be assured that the preview version of the feature is also tested before it is released. Limitations and caveats in the feature are well documented in the documentation, which you can read carefully.

It's hard for us to count the success rate of this migration, it depends on the number of migrations you want to do, the configuration in the migration and other factors. We can't count the exact success rate.

If you are looking for a more secure way to migrate your site, we recommend you wait until the tool is officially released before trying it out.
