How to extra the correct data with Azure Document Intelligence

Hi all,

I'm running into a couple issues with the document intelligence tool extracting data and I'm wondering if you have any tips? I am picking up a | with some of the data, sometimes the data is getting combined with the field next to it, and sometimes the time isn't going into the correct place in the table. Please see the screen shots below. I am using API version: 2023-07-31

Could you please share the image you are analyzing so that I can test it at my end ?

Could you please try with api-version 2024-02-29 (preview) and check if you encounter the same issue ?

Thanks for looking into this. Below is an image, this image has the M-F all as one text as shown below. Same issue as above where it combines the fields into one string.

@Andrew Welle Could you please try the layout model (instead of the Read model) in Document intelligence studio, which can understand more on the table layout ? More info here.**

Hi,

The layout model won't work in this use case since I need to be able to set fields.

I am trying to take different versions of this form (some are a lot different) and then compose the models together for one extract of this type of data.

@Andrew Welle I am not sure about the above reason that the layout doesn’t work.

Could you clarify and elaborate why layout will not help in your scenario ?

What is the issue you are facing with layout model ?
