3D display mode missing

Hi. So I accidentally enabled the 3D display mode when i was using hdmi cable which didn’t play as well. It only showed my desktop screen. Then, i went to the settings and accidentally enabled 3D. After that, when i inserted hdmi cable my screen kept turning dark. So i did follow the steps of deleting the 3 paths ways using regedit. Then i restarted my laptop. How would i know it the 3D mode is surely disabled? Because i still cant find it in the settings.
