Azure Private DNS Resolver : cCan we use on-premise DNS running on RHEL as a conditional forwarder

We are using Azure Private DNS resolver service to resolve Azure and on-premise domains.

can we use on-premise DNS server running on RHEL to configure conditional forwarder rule ? or is it necessary to have Windows DNS server on-premise.

Details of On-premise DNS server are as below.

Red Hat Enterprisse Linux Server Standard with below installed packges.

    Hi Mahesh,

    There is no requirement to use Windows DNS server on-premises for the conditional forwarding to the Private DNS Resolver inbound endpoint. In practice Windows Server DNS is often used because of existing Windows Active Directory Domain Services configuration.
